IMEI and protocol
The tracker should expose a valid IMEI or unique ID and use a supported tracking protocol or integration path.
SIM and data connectivity
The tracker needs a working SIM/data plan unless using a managed Cloud+SIM flow. APN configuration may also be required.
Installation type
OBD, battery and wired trackers have different setup requirements. The platform should make the software onboarding simple regardless of tracker type.
